Dyson quality shines through for 911 Recovery 21 November 2011

Scottish operator 911 Rescue Recovery has taken delivery of two Roger Dyson Hydraloader 5000Sla slidebeds.

The vehicles offer an approach angle of 4.9°, allowing them to recover even supercars without risk of damage. Each also includes a second vehicle lift

They have been fitted to 12-tonne MAN TGL crewcabs, and join a fleet of nearly 50 recovery vehicles at the operator, which includes everything from motorcycles to a 26-tonne truck, the overwhelming majority of which were built by Roger Dyson.

The manufacturer is currently processing another order from 911 – this for a twin-decked Hydraloader, to be mounted on an 18-tonne MAN day cab chassis. With a 30ft long platform, this vehicle will be capable of carrying up to three cars, and a fourth on the second vehicle lift.

"I always get what I want from Dyson," states 911 Rescue Recovery managing director Stephen Greenhorn.

"Roger tells me my vehicles are very highly specified, with features such as bespoke lockers to house all the equipment and controls. But it's important to me that every piece of equipment has its place," he adds.
