Edbro aims to extend tipper life with new body clamp 14 November 2012

Edbro has launched a product designed to prevent tipper bodies from rattling whilst in transit. More importantly, the firm says its Body Clamp prolongs tipper life.

"Rattling empty tipper bodies is a real problem for operators, and one that can lead to early failure and reduced profits," comments Peter Smith, sales and marketing director for Edbro.

The clamp is suitable for use with most tipping vehicles, and stops empty bodies from rattling in transit thus preventing damage to the chassis and tipper.

Having undergone a series of tests at Edbro's R&D centre, the clamp is now available from the manufacturer direct or through authorised agents.

The product is available in either steel or aluminium and has also been shown to reduce noise pollution.
