Edbro goes bio-oil compatible on tipper hydraulics 16 August 2012

Hydraulic tipping manufacturer Edbro says that all its hydraulic kits are now bio-oil compatible.

The company believes this development offers another efficiency improvement to operators, complementing its lightweight tipping cylinders.

Traditionally, hydraulic tippers have required mineral oil to provide the pressure that operates the linear cylinders – and that gets costly, given the requirement for regular oil changes and disposal.

"We understand the pressure on businesses of all sizes to improve environmental awareness," says Peter Smith, Edbro sales director.

"It's for this reason that we have always worked hard to ensure our cylinders are the lightest and quickest on the market. And it is for this reason that our hydraulic kits have now been developed to be bio-oil compatible."
