ePower Trucks expands electric vehicles unit into new premises 09 February 2015

Electric commercial vehicles supplier ePower Trucks (part of Lift Safe) is expanding into new premises at the Hawksley Street Industrial Estate in Manchester, as it marks its 15th anniversary.

The company claims to offers the UK's largest range of electric utility vehicles, including many road-legal models used in last-mile urban delivery and estates management.

ePower Trucks also supplies battery-powered tow tractors and tugs to industrial facilities as well as local authorities, prisons and NHS trusts.

"The business has grown year on year to the point where we simply outgrew our old building," comments Jerry Hanss, managing director of Lift Safe, adding that the firm invested £100,000 in fitting out the new premises.

"The new premises are less than a mile away from our old site, which enables us to retain all our employees."

The additional space gives us room for even greater growth for 2015 and beyond."
