Esso tankers to get the MAN badge, under Hoyer deal 23 April 2010

Hoyer is to get a new fleet of 22 MAN TGS 440BLS 6x2 tractor units to work on its Esso contract.

Although Hoyer already has 220 MAN trucks on its Petrolog fleet, this is a first for the Esso livery.

Allan Davison, Esso contract manager at Hoyer, explains that the tractors are being fitted with 'M' day cabs, while 10 will also have Hydrapaks.

He also says that he vehicles are being supplied under a five-year R&M deal, which includes after-sales support from MAN's HazMAN network of dedicated haz.chem Truck Centres.

"We are delighted to be introducing MAN to our Esso contract," comments Davison. "MAN has established a reputation for high quality products backed up by a comprehensive support network in the UK."
