European hauliers join forces in Route to Space Alliance05 April 2017
UK haulier Collett Group is among a group of five European operators to form the Route to Space Alliance – a collaboration to offer transport and logistics services to the aerospace and astrospace sectors.
The Toulouse-based group also includes French operator Chabrillac, Friderici Special of Switzerland, and German companies Hermann Paule and WeiLa Transport.
The aim is to use the operators’ combined expertise to deliver a bespoke transport service for highly sensitive and irreplaceable cargo.
The Route To Space Alliance is represented across 13 sites in four countries and features 185.000m2 of depot space, 45.050m2 of warehousing and more than 700 specialist vehicles and trailers.
