Expansion beckons for the TRW Proequip brand 25 March 2013

TRW Automotive Aftermarket has announced a "multi-product range extension" for its OE (original equipment) HCV parts programme, TRW Proequip.

The range extension totals 117 part numbers, including: 26 new shock absorbers; 38 drag links; six radius rods; four repair kits; three stabiliser links; three tie rod ends; 33 track rods; three suspension ball joints and one new V-link.

The new ranges will be available across Albion, Bredamen, DAF, DANA, Dennis, Lohr, Irizar, Iveco, Magirus-Deutz, MAN, Mercedes, Nato, Nissan, Scania, SISU, Tatra, Renault, Van Hool, VDL, Volvo and ZF Passau.

"As we prepare to celebrate the fifth birthday of the brand, the TRW Proequip programme continues to go from strength to strength," says Dennis Christ, European HCV channel marketing manager at TRW Automotive Aftermarket.

"The HCV steering and suspension range alone grew by 20% in 2012. The programmes are well rounded, well respected and, by operating a continuous improvement policy, we offer some of the most applicable ranges in Europe," he continues.

"Indeed, our S&S range now totals more than 1,000 parts for commercial vehicles," he adds.

Launched at Automechanika Frankfurt, in 2008 under the strapline: 'The New Heavyweight', the OE quality TRW Proequip portfolio now comprises: steering and suspension parts; brake pads; shock absorbers and steering gear.

"TRW employs more than 4,000 engineers, scientists and technicians in 27 countries, to ensure parts for every vehicle class ... work harmoniously in models from over 40 vehicle manufacturers.

"With more than 100 years' experience in the OE HCV steering business, TRW's aftermarket strategy is to leverage this OE experience into its Corner Module offer of braking, steering & suspension parts and systems
