Extra capacity and payload for Ingimex Luton conversions 19 December 2012

Ingimex has announced conversions for the Renault Master, Vauxhall Movano and Nissan NV400 that it is describing as high-payload Luton bodies.

The Telford-based company says it has modified its bodies to incorporate a four-tier load restraint system into the support structure of the side panels, so reducing weight.

In addition, the steel rear frame weighs in at only 60kg, giving the Luton van what it claims is a market-leading payload potential.

Other features include a wide lathe shutter, manufactured in-house from aluminium and fitted with a slam-lock and throw-over handle, and optional Ingimex anti-rattle load restraint poles, rated to 400kg and designed to easeload securing.

Ingimex also says that manufacturing the side panels and bulkheads in-house helps minimise conversion times. It cites assembling the panels with adhesive, and immediately moving them through final assembly as the adhesive sets, as among its assembly time saving techniques.
