Faymonville’s latest is a 64m telescoping semi-trailer 03 February 2016

Us extreme semi-trailers manufacturer Faymonville has launched a particularly versatile flatdeck vehicle extendable up to four times to a maximum overall length of 64m.

Dubbed TeleMAX, the new semi-trailer follows in the footsteps of Faymonville’s existing HighwayMAX and the DualMAX products, and is available with three or four axles.

“We adapted the pneumatic and the electric system and components ... to the North American DOT standards,” says Faymonville area sales manager Paul Hönen

“And the non-load bearing pull-out permits a longer overhang of the loads,” he adds.

With its telescopic loading deck, the TeleMAX is aimed at operators needing to transport exceptionally long or bulky loads.

Faymonville also points to the new telescoping semi-trailer’s lightweight construction, its 55 degree steering angle, remote control steering and the low loading deck height, which enable good payload handling as well as manoeuvrability.
