Feast your eyes on Volvo stand at Truckfest05 April 2016

Volvo Trucks has announced that it will be exhibiting a full range of trucks, including the top-spec FH16-750 tractor, along with a special appearance from Formula 1 racing at the forthcoming Truckfest event (Peterborough; 1-2 May).

Visitors to the stand will be able to view all the safety features on the truck exhibits, including the Active Safety+ and Personal Protection Package for drivers, and will be able to experience the cab ‘roll-over’ rig.

The top-spec FH16-750 will form the centrepiece, although attention is certain to be generated by the appearance of a McLaren-Honda Volvo FH tractor unit coupled to a McLaren-Honda team race trailer.

This is part of the new fleet of 24 Volvo trucks providing transport solutions and logistics support for race team and hospitality operations, as part of the manufacturer’s exclusive four-year agreement with McLaren-Honda.

Volvo truck specifications on display will include FH and FM tractors equipped with the high torque, fuel-efficient 13-litre D13K540 and D11K410 engines.

The FHs have Globetrotter XL cabs, and the FM tractor unit on show will have a Globetrotter LXL sleeper.
