Fiat kicks off 2017 with van donation09 December 2016

Fiat Professional is donating a new Fiat Talento van for a year to a charity for homeless people with mental health issues.

The Talento LWB 120bhp, five-door, six-speed manual is on free loan to the Geoff Horsfield Foundation, a charity set up by the former Fulham, Birmingham City and West Brom footballer.

The vehicle will be used for property renovations and moving furniture and belongings, supporting homeless people in the Birmingham area.

The Geoff Horsfield Foundation has helped many young people to move on to independent living and, with more than 30 referrals a month, it is already over-subscribed. Now, there are plans to expand from the Midlands and become nationwide.

“The dream is to develop the charity but we can only do that with the generous help of others,” says Horsfield (pictured).

“That’s why I am over the moon that Fiat Professional has loaned me this fantastic Talento.

“It will be a very useful addition to the charity as we move into 2017, and it’s a great gesture which I really appreciate.”
