First Ford Transit Custom crystal clear on windows 09 January 2013

Andrew Wilkinson, who owns H2O Cleaning Contractors in Lincoln, is the first to take delivery of a Ford Transit Custom, buying it from Evans Halshaw Ford and driving it away the same day.

Powered by an improved 2.2-litre Duratorq TDCi engine available with Auto-Start-Stop, and emitting just 178g/km of CO2, the van is already a hit.

"I am very impressed with how the Ford Transit Custom has been engineered and the large payload it can carry, meeting our need to carry a half-tonne water tank in the back," says Wilkinson.

"It drives more like a car than a van and the fuel economy I'm getting is excellent."
