The used truck centre is the latest in a series of site upgrades, which include a drive-through workshop.
Sparks Swindon will now sell all used models from 2.8-tonnes up to 44-tonnes, and is pledging to keep between ten and 15 vehicles in stock at any time. It will also have access to Renault Trucks’ nationwide stock and a smaller selection will be available from its Portsmouth site.
Sparks Commercials has recruited Lee Murrell to head the used truck side. Sparks’ director Julie Spark describes Murrell as “an invaluable asset”, with 17 years’ experience in the sector.
She adds: “We are very proud to unveil our new venture into the used truck market for the first time.
“I am also delighted to announce further planned investment for 2018 in our Swindon site as we will be launching a new ATF MOT lane and extending our opening still further to 24 hours.”
