Fraikin portal eases fleet optimisation and compliance 25 November 2015

Fraikin’s new web portal, now being rolled out to fleet customers, has been designed to improve their and the suppliers’ access to management information over vehicle compliance and availability.

Dubbed Fraikin View, the portal hosts real-time information uploaded by the commercial vehicle rental firm’s network and more than 500 authorised repairers across the UK.

Mark Newnes, operations director at Fraikin, says that, customers can now report vehicle defects online, access vehicles’ service history and monitor progress of vehicle breakdowns.

The new portal also lists planned maintenance work, helping operators to optimise fleet scheduling, and – just as important – hosts vehicle documentation and fleet information to assist with compliance.

“Fraikin View represents the culmination of more than two years of intensive planning and development,” states Newnes.

“We had a clear vision for what we wanted to create, plus we’ve incorporated all of the features our customers told us they wanted,” he continues.

“Fraikin View is completely bespoke to our business [and] will continue to grow in scope and capability along with our customers’ needs.”

Fraikin has been rolling the portal out across its customer base and expects all customers to have access by the end of January 2016, with 90% of customers already able to use the system.
