Freight exchange sees 53% growth in loads posted 27 April 2015

Returnloads.net says there has been a 53% increase in the number of loads posted on its online site in Q1 2015, compared to the same period last year.

The online freight exchange says it has seen an average of 3,258 loads available every day since the start of this year – meaning that increasing numbers of UK transport companies are profiting from back loads, increasing profitability and saving the environment.

"Over the last 12 months we have seen strong growth in both member numbers and available loads," comments sales and marketing manager Matthew Spendiff.

"Our membership numbers are always on the up: we literally have new members signing up every day and this shows no signs of slowing down," he adds.

Spendiff makes the point that the more membership grows, the more loads are posted, because the more get covered. "93% of loads posted on our freight exchange were covered through the exchange last year."
