FTA fleet maintenance prize for Suttons Group08 January 2018

Global logistics business Suttons Group has received a 2017 roadworthiness award from the Freight Transport Association (FTA), which cited the Widnes-based group’s high standards of fleet safety, compliance and efficiency.

“As the UK’s largest bulk chemical logistics company, we are delighted to receive this prestigious award,” said Michael Cundy, managing director of Suttons Tankers.

“We are incredibly proud of the high standards we maintain throughout our fleet and our track record of providing a flexible, reliable and safe service. Our team makes an exceptional contribution to maintain our excellent safety record and this award is testament to that.”

FTA’s senior contract manager Eric Higham added: “I’m delighted to present the prestigious Roadworthiness Award to Suttons Group in recognition of the excellent standards they have in vehicle safety in order to maintain standards of compliance and vehicle condition.”

The roadworthiness awards are given to those clients of the FTA’s vehicle inspection service who can demonstrate excellence maintenance of vehicle and trailer fleets.
