Gas contractor renews Citroen van fleet with Free2Move Lease15 August 2019

Nationwide gas contractor Robert Heath Heating has taken delivery of 80 new Citroen vans as part of a fleet replacement programme, with the new arrivals funded through Free2Move Lease, its preferred van financing partner.

The vans are used by the Surrey-based operator’s installation and maintenance engineers throughout the UK. All are equipped with Citroën Connect Box, which includes an emergency and assistance system and provides a telematics portal.

Robert Heath Heating has opted for an enhanced managed maintenance service from Free2Move Lease. All bookings, along with driver and dealer liaison, by the finance company, which also provides the operator with regular customised reports on all work carried out.

Additionally, the inbuilt Citroen telematics system flags up vehicle faults automatically, enabling the team at Free2Move Lease to ensure they are attended to quickly by the chosen repairer.

The vans are also specified with Free2Move Connect Fleet, an optional telematics package which is factory fitted and which provides vehicle monitoring, fuel management reports and notifications of driving style, including speed, rpm levels and harsh braking incidents.

“As an organisation, Free2Move Lease is prepared to push boundaries and break the mould of what is often deemed to be an institutionalised and inflexible industry,” says Stuart Cocks, commercial director for Robert Heath Heating.
