Go Plant Fleet Services achieves new ISO safety standard08 January 2020

Go Plant Fleet Services has been awarded the ISO 45001 standard for occupational health and safety.

The ISO standard replaces OHSAS 18001, which is being phased out, and Go Plant Fleet Services is thought to be one of the first providers of specialist vehicles to achieve the new accreditation.

Antony Draper, head of health, safety, environment and quality at the Leicestershire-based business, says: “We place a huge amount of importance on health and safety across our entire business… Our safety record is up there with the best as a result, and we’re naturally doing all we can to keep it that way.

“Our achievement of the new standard underlines that commitment to safety across the board and the fact that we’ve done so way ahead of the deadline is another illustration of how we’re leading the way in our industry.”

Draper is pictured with Juliet Howells, the firm’s senior compliance officer.

Go Plant Fleet Services provides fleet management services and rental of vehicles such as RCVs, gritters, cage tippers and road sweepers.
