Heathline Commercials invests £500,000 in new repair facility08 October 2019

Commercial vehicle repair and service business Heathline Commercials is investing £500,000 in a new facility in Cramlington, Northumberland.

Work is underway on the 6,000sqft unit at Bolam Business Park, which will feature an authorised testing facility (ATF), two inspection pits for HGVS, coaches and vans, and a dedicated paint bay.

Heathline plans to move into the new unit in December, but will continue to operate a body repair shop from its existing premises, less than a mile away.

As well as repairing and servicing vehicles for owner-drivers up to medium sized fleets, Heathline offers breakdown services, tachograph repair and recalibration, and spare parts for all makes of truck, trailer, bus and van. The company uses r2c Online software to manage inspections and maintenance, compliance and parts management.

Gavin Cape (pictured), engineering director of Healthline Commercials, says: “Once completed, the new premises will provide our staff with a great working environment and ensures our customers continue to receive a competitive quality service.

“The investment means Heathline is able to incorporate the latest equipment and features while allowing sufficient space to allow the business to grow in the coming years.”
