Heavy-duty transmission jack bridges the gap for CV workshops30 May 2014

Lifting equipment manufacturer Stertil Koni has launched a new heavy-duty transmission jack which can lift loads of up to 1,000kg.

Featuring an air-operated motor, the model is designed for versatility, with a 1,155mm minimum height and extended height of 2,100mm.

Stability is delivered via a wide base spread over four legs, and the jack can be operated by one workshop technician.

The jack includes a two-way tilt adaptor to give precise positioning when removing different types of transmission.

The air-operated motor provides initial rapid movement of the ram; adjustments can be made with the integral manual pump.

A triple extension ram, with chrome piston, provides up to 945mm of stoke, while optional custom-fit adaptor top plates are available to suit applications with all makes and sizes of commercial and heavy duty vehicle transmissions.
