Supplied by Scania Darlington with a two-year R&M package, the latest addition is powered by a 410bhp, 13-litre Euro 6 engine with eight-speed Opticruise transmission, mounted in a K 410 EB 6x2*4 chassis.
The specification includes lateral displacement to passenger seats, an auxiliary pre-heater, GPS navigation system, BiXenon headlights and Alcoa Dura-Bright aluminium wheels.
Elsewhere, Bay Travel Coaches has chosen Scania for its first new vehicle, a 12.1m Scania Touring HD.
The Cowdenbeath, Fife-based operator’s new addition is equipped with 49 reclining seats with three-point seatbelts, a centre sunken toilet, DVD player and two monitors, extra-dark tinted glass, drinks machine and Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels.
The vehicle is also the first to adopt the company’s new livery.
