Ian Craig Haulage builds MAN fleet with more TGS tractors 13 April 2015

Craig Haulage, one of Scotland’s leading transport operators, has taken delivery of four new MAN Euro 6 26.480 6x2 TGS tractor units with LX cabs – with for more due to be added to its 68-strong fleet later this year.

The new trucks are part of a £2 million investment in new equipment at the Larbert-based company, which transports construction materials throughout Scotland and England.

"Transporting bricks and timber has always been a challenge, and with the recent upturn in the building and construction industry, we knew we needed to invest in vehicles that we could rely on," states Ian Craig Haulage director Kevin Craig.

Craig says they chose MAN because of their overall reputation for cost saving. "We've been working with MAN for four years now and have been impressed with every vehicle we've taken," he explains.

"We've found that time and time again, MAN have exceeded our requirements and given us the most in terms of reliability, uptime and fuel economy."

Craig explains that all the comany's trucks are 44 tonners, operating as artics and drawbars, and the majority have been fitted with brick cranes.
