If Carlsberg did tacho analysis...03 January 2017

Tacho analysis supplier TruTac has presented two awards for compliance to its customer Carlsberg.

The awards were presented at the brewery giant’s recent O licence meeting in November, at which UK fleet manager Philip Thompson discusses best practice and reviews achievements across his teams and depots.

Jemma James, TruTac’s commercial and operations director, attended the event and presented the award for most compliant driver to Matt Day and most compliant depot prize to the Ipswich team.

Carlsberg uses TruControl software to monitor drivers’ hours and adherence to tacho legislation.

“Carlsberg is an exemplary operator, focused on both driver and depot compliance,” says James. “The benefits are clear to see in accident reduction and fleet efficiency, as well as driver retention rates.”

The brewery plans to outsource its distribution operation to DHL Tradeteam by the end of 2018.
