The Ballyshannon-based operator selected the trailers for their loading flexibility and load security.
"Given the diverse nature of our operation – which includes foodstuffs, IT equipment and hazardous cargo – we needed a strong but flexible trailer to cope with any type or size of load," says Paul Dolan, director of NWC.
NWC specified the Profi Liners for their ability to load through the roof and for the trailer's Multi Lock load security system. Using up to 130 lashing points on each side rave, almost any load can be safely secured at any point along the trailer bed.
For added safety, the curtain straps can be accessed from inside the trailer when the curtain is closed.
"Our service not only operates on long-haul routes, but also includes multi-drop schedules," adds Dolan (pictured with co-director William Hoey).
"This requires a fast method of securing the load in the safest way possible."
