ISG technology cuts admin time thanks to TomTom 29 June 2012

IT and networking specialist ISG technology says it has reduced admin time by 100% since buying into vehicle fleet management systems from TomTom.

The Surrey-based firm, which operates five service delivery centres throughout the UK, successfully saved 12 hours of admin a month after introducing the system across its 59-strong commercial vehicle fleet.

Driver behaviour monitoring and job despatch functionality have also enabled ISG to improve efficiency, in terms of both fuel usage and workflow.

"Not only are we able to download data at the touch of a button, but the information is also far more comprehensive than previous systems and much easier to use," comments Evgeniya Vukova, ISG technology finance administrator.

Prior to implementing TomTom's technology, ISG had to endure long download times whenever it attempted to access data on working hours and mileage, she says.

Now, bespoke reports can be generated instantly by the Webfleet online fleet management dashboard, providing information at the touch of a button.

Furthermore, TomTom's ecoPlus has allowed ISG to get a handle on fuel consumption before taking further measures to reduce its cost through driver behaviour monitoring.
