Iveco boosts HGV service promise with Truck Station scheme17 February 2017

IVECO has launched an accreditation programme enabling dealers with heavy truck expertise to become an Iveco Truck Station.

The manufacturer has accredited 24 dealers across the UK so far, and says it expects to have 250 sites in the programme by the end of this year, located along the main European transport routes.

Dealers must meet a rigorous set of standards covering all business areas, including staff training, extended opening hours and higher parts availability.

Operators using a Truck Station will be able to benefit from the manufacturer’s uptime guarantee, offered with all New Stralis XP and NP vehicles.

Accredited sites have a ‘priority lane’ for these vehicles, ensuring they receive swift technical support. This includes tyre servicing and truck washing, while drivers benefit from a waiting room with TV, free wifi, drinks machine and access to shower facilities.

All Truck Station sites will be audited annually to ensure they continue to meet the required standard.
