The S-Way, says the truck maker, is the first in its new heavy range, designed to deliver features and services focused on the driver. It is part of a strategy for integrated transport solutions, “in which the services around the product become more important than the product itself”, it says.
Two 6x2 examples of the S-Way range will be on show, both featuring the AS sleeper cab.
One will have a Cursor 13, 12.9-litre natural power engine which delivers 454bhp and 2000Nm of torque. The other will be a Euro VI D diesel version, delivering 562bhp and 2500Nm of torque.
The S-Way trucks will be joined at the show by two Daily vans: a 3.5-tonne natural power CNG chassis cab with a Brit-Tipp utility body, and a 7-tonne van. Both models are equipped with the Hi-Matic eight-speed automatic transmission.
Completing the line-up will be a 7.5-tonne Eurocargo, powered by a Tector 5, 4.5-litre engine delivering 188bhp and 700Nm of torque.
