Kier outsources 7,000-strong fleet to Rivus10 February 2020

Construction and infrastructure services business Kier has signed a five-year deal with Rivus Fleet Solutions for management of the operator’s 7,000-strong fleet.

Rivus – formerly BT Fleet – will be responsible for service, maintenance and repair, accident management and vehicle procurement of operational vehicles as well as managing Kier’s company car scheme.

Rivus will source and supply leased vehicles with a maintenance model through its garage network and 50 mobile technicians.

“Working in partnership with Rivus will give us better control of costs across our business units, more efficient processes, improved access to innovation and better visibility of our fleet data,” says Julie Madoui, Kier’s group head of fleet (pictured, right, with Cheryl Feely-Jones, customer operations director for Rivus).

“Ultimately, we will get a better value service for Kier as a whole,” she adds.
