Krone acquires Knapen Trailers27 June 2019
Krone Commercial Vehicle Group is acquiring moving floor trailer manufacturer Knapen Trailers, with the companies citing synergies in product quality and services.
Both are family-run businesses and, subject to approval by the regulatory authorities, the deal will see Knapen Trailers becoming part of the Krone group.
Knapen, based in The Netherlands, will remain an independent company within the German group; the Knapen management team will remain in place and all products will continue to be sold by the Dutch business.
