Majorlift hub and caliper removal tools solve industry problem 27 September 2012

Brake and caliper removals, which typically take two technicians, look set to be significantly easier and safer, following the introduction of tools from Majorlift.

Claimed to take half the effort, its FTJ500 floor transmission jack, used in conjunction with Majorlift's new mini caliper crane, requires just one technician and also reduces the chances of workplace injuries as well as damage to hub seals and components.

Majorlift's FTJ500 incorporates the same manual pump as its big brother the FTJ1000 and packs 500kg of lifting power.

Meanwhile, the MCC mini caliper crane is a new unit designed for working in tight places. It, too, is powered by Majorlift's pump, which gives up to 150kg of hydraulic lift power.
