Simon Elliott, managing director, MAN Truck & Bus UK and Keith Sims, operations director, HRVS Group joined the club’s chairman, Peter Swann and chief executive, Jim Rodwell, at Glanford Park to announce the two-year deal.
“Football offers a high-profile opportunity for businesses, never more so than in today’s social media age,” comments Elliott.
“For MAN, this is a strong partnership and we’re delighted to be associated with Prostate Cancer UK, a cause being backed by Scunthorpe United, which has donated the front of its shirts in support,” he continues.
“We’re a male-dominated industry and as a business, health and well-being is extremely important for us.”
“HRVS has a strong presence in Scunthorpe and surrounding areas and this sponsorship will allow us to give something back to the community in which we work and help us spread the MAN message to an even wider audience,” states Keith Sims, operations director, HRVS Group.
