Luxury car manufacturer Porsche has taken delivery of a state-of-the art MAN TGM 18-tonne 4x2 rigid to deliver vehicles nationwide.

The truck has gone in to service from Porsche’s UK headquarters in Reading to deliver Press-test vehicles to addresses countrywide.

It will be put in to service for 16-hour shifts and will also be supporting operations by transporting customers’ Carerra GTs and 918 Spyders to Reading for visits to the specialist service centre.

John Manning, group operations centre manager PRG, said: “Obviously MAN is within our group, but we are confident that the MAN TGM will make an excellent impression when delivering our press-test vehicles to the journalists and collecting these high-end vehicles from our customers. The truck will be delivering and collecting select vehicles and will be fitted out to the highest spec. It is important to us that the service we provide is first rate and we want to create a lasting impression from start to finish.”
