MAN TGX has the bottle for Encirc06 October 2016

Container glass manufacturer Encirc has taken delivery of 12 new MAN TGX tractors, bringing the number of MAN vehicles in its 33-strong fleet to 19.

Supplied by RK Trucks, of Belfast, the latest additions are split across Encirc’s sites in County Fermanagh and Chester.

The new vehicles are all TGX 26.480 6X2/2 BLS models, with a mix of 12.4- and 15.2-litre engines. They have XLX medium high roof sleeper cabs and are plated at 44 tonnes gtw.

John McNally, Encirc logistics manager for Ireland and England, says: “We are pleased with the service and cost of ownership we have experienced with the first five MAN TGXs we put on the road in 2015.

“The new trucks are going to be put in service at both the Derrylin, Co Fermanagh and our Elton, Cheshire, plants. Geographically, MAN is perfectly located to carry out all our servicing and day-to-day requirements.

“We have been very impressed with the whole package and the ease of dealing with MAN as a supplier.”
