Mercedes-Benz Sprinters give IP Fork Trucks a lift 18 December 2012

Ten years of reliable and cost-effective performance from its previous Mercedes-Benz Sprinters has led Sandbach, Cheshire-based IP Fork Trucks back to Stoke-on-Trent dealer Enza for new vans.

Both are Medium-length, high-roof 313CDI BlueEfficiency vehicles, designed to cut fuel consumption and exhaust emissions – with Eco-Start, low rolling resistance tyres, and efficiency improvements to items such as the power steering system, fuel pump and battery management.

"Since buying our first Sprinter a decade ago we've tried several other makes and models, but none has come close to the Mercedes-Benz, in terms of reliability," confirms Mark Isherwood, managing director of IP Fork Trucks.

"We supply fork trucks and plant equipment to customers over much of the country, so our mobile service engineers rack up a lot of miles. It's vital their vans are dependable," he continues.

"We also need to know that we have a safety net in the event of anything going wrong. Enza and its dealers in the Mercedes-Benz network provide top-quality back-up."

The two new vans are the subject of a CharterWay contract hire arrangement from Mercedes-Benz Financial Services.
