Mercedes-Benz Unimog in rescue mission for flood-hit village27 February 2020

Kier Rogers, owner of premium cider business Colcombe House, has used his all-terrain Mercedes-Benz Unimog to help residents of Hampton Bishop, in Herefordshire, after the village flooded during the recent Storm Dennis.

Rogers used his 28-year-old U1700 vehicle to take neighbours to and from their homes and businesses, and delivered food and medical supplies.

“Nothing stops a Unimog and mine performed brilliantly throughout,” says Rogers.

“I was able to carry up to 10 people at a time, with hay bales in the back for them to sit on, and they were all very grateful.”
