Millbrook to demonstrate testing technology at LCV2014 07 August 2014

Newly independent vehicle test facility Millbrook says it will be displaying its full range of testing technology and capabilities at the upcoming Low Carbon Vehicle event on 10—11 September.

Millbrook chief executive Alex Burns says he will also be sharing news of the company's plans for future developments.

The annual event – staged at Millbrook – combines a technology exhibition, ride and drive, networking activities and the seminar programme.

Burns says Millbrook will focus on its testing, using engine dynamometers, environmental chambers, crash laboratories and emissions testing systems.

The centre will also display its capabilities around engineering and manufacturing specialist vehicle conversions.

"Our extensive laboratory facilities, 70km of test tracks and 45 years' of engineering, test and validation experience, makes Millbrook an ideal partner at any stage in the development of vehicles of tomorrow," insists Burns.

"We have some exciting plans for the future of Millbrook, including a new technology park and upgraded engine test facilities. I look forward to sharing these forthcoming investments with visitors at LCV."
