MiX Vision, MiX 3D and My MiX will be three new additions to the web-based Fleet Manager telematics platform, offering in-cab video recording, remote tachograph downloading and driver access to individual performance data.
MiX Vision is a dual road-facing and driver-facing video system, simultaneously recording images of the road ahead and inside the cab. It also captures sound and has an infra-red light to enable night-time recording.
When an event occurs, the system automatically uploads to the Fleet Manager platform eight seconds of footage before the event and seven seconds after it. The system can also provide high-res video data from any period in the previous 72 hours.
MiX 3D is a remote digital tachograph download service, capturing data from the tacho unit and the driver's card, transferring this to back office systems. An additional module allows fleet managers to see drivers' hours on an interactive timeline, allowing efficient planning and routing.
For drivers, My MiX is a portal giving to performance data by individual or by vehicle, and is accessible by PC, smartphone and tablet.
