Narrow Aisle rates ‘impressive insight’ from Ctrack Online23 July 2018

Materials handling equipment manufacturer Narrow Aisle has renewed a telematics contract with Ctrack to manage its service engineer van fleet.

The new three-year deal comes after Ctrack Online delivered improved visibility and control for Narrow Aisle, which uses the system to support the service team based at its Tipton, West Midlands headquarters.

Service operators are using the software to identify and deploy the most appropriate engineer for each job, based on location, status and availability. Real-time data can also be communicated direct to customers to provide accurate ETAs or warn of any unexpected delays.

The fleet reporting package is also proving useful for Narrow Aisle, giving it the ability to verify working hours, measure productivity and monitor driver behaviour to target road safety improvements and ensure operational costs are kept under control.

Incident reconstruction has been used to investigate and gain greater insight into any accidents or alleged driving incidents.

Martin Simpson, service manager at Narrow Aisle, says: “Ctrack Online has become an incredibly useful tool for the business, providing clear service, efficiency and safety benefits.

“The user-friendly nature of the system makes it simple and straightforward, while the advanced functionality delivers impressive operational insight and business intelligence.”
