New Labcraft product in the spotlight at CV Show03 March 2017

Lighting manufacturer Labcraft will be unveiling a new Banksman light at the forthcoming CV Show (25-27 April; NEC, Birmingham).

Provisionally called the Banksman R23, the product has just completed final testing and is being heralded as “a world first”.

David Frew, head of sales and marketing, explains: “It’s an effective light that enables OEMs and fleet owners to meet the Regulation 48 manoeuvring light criteria on commercial vehicles pre-registration.”

The Banksman lighting system can be installed at various points around the underside of the chassis and provides a bright carpet of white light around the vehicle. This significantly improves driver visibility enabling them to avoid obstructions in dimly lit areas – reducing risk of damage and of injury to third parties.

Labcraft says all Banksman solutions are simple to install and connect directly to the vehicle loom. The new Banksman R23 can be fitted as standard to new vehicles or retrofitted to an existing fleet, and comes with a 10-year warranty.
