New look for Blackheath Products with rebranded livery20 January 2020

Halesowen-based Blackheath Products has upgraded its fleet of DAF rigids with new livery applied by Graphics Depot.

Graphics Depot, a division of bodybuilder Bevan Group, removed the existing liveries on 16 of the operator’s 19-strong fleet, and applied the operator’s rebranded imagery.

Most are 7.5-tonners, but three of the rebranded vehicles are 18-tonners with sleeper cabs. All are supplied on contract hire from Ryder, with curtainsider bodies by Bevan Group. The three oldest trucks on the fleet were excluded from the programme, as they are being replaced.

Blackheath Products is a supplier to the construction and furniture sector. The livery project was carried out, two vehicles at a time, on a schedule to minimise fleet downtime.

Old liveries were removed from the cabs and rear doors, prior to ‘mopping and polishing’ to obscure all trace of the previous design. Graphics Depot also printed, laminated, cut and applied the new decals, and supplied and fitted replacement curtains.

“Bevan have always done a good job for us... so, having decided to update the fleet with our new branding, it was only natural that our first call was to Graphics Depot,” says Mick Greensill, the operator’s transport manager.

Bevan Group relaunched its long-established vehicle livery service as Graphics Depot last year.
