New Puno van from Fiat Professional wows CV Show crowds 26 April 2012

Fiat Professional's New Punto Van 2012 has made its UK debut at this week's Commercial Vehicle Show at Birmingham's NEC.

The new van replaces the Grande Punto Van in the Fiat Professional line-up and promises, according to the manufacturer, a wealth of improvements in the car-derived van market – for example, capacity of 1m3 and a payload of 520kg.

Customers will have the choice of three power outputs from Fiat's 1.3-litre Multijet II diesel engine – 75bhp, 85bhp and 95bhp.

Arguably the pick of the bunch for operators is the mid-range 85bhp model, which records a combined fuel consumption of 80.7mpg and emits just 90g/km CO2.

Standard equipment on all versions includes ESP (electronic stability programme), BAS (brake assistance system), remote central locking, electric front windows, electrically adjustable and heated body coloured mirrors, trip computer, driver and passenger airbags, radio/CD/MP3 player, electric power steering, height and reach-adjustable steering wheel and a height-adjustable driver's seat.
