New Renault Master ECO comes with competitive finance 31 October 2012

Renault Trucks has added the Renault Master ECO to its LCV range – so called because it is claimed to be optimised for fuel efficiency.

In fact, Renault says that the new model uses 7% less fuel than its predecessor, and has been designed to drive down operating costs across all applications.

Nigel Butler, Renault Trucks' commercial director, says it's all about recognising the pressure operators are under to reduce costs. Hence also the new Renault Master's "competitive finance deal", with interest rates at 0.99% until the end of the year through Renault Trucks Financial Services.

Renault Master ECO is available in panel van, chassis cab, crew cab, minibus and platform cab versions, with gross vehicle weights of 2.8 to 4.8 tonnes, he adds.

Productivity should also be good, since payload and load space have been improved. The Master ECO panel van, for example, has up to 17m3 of usable volume and can carry 2,254kg; while the chassis cab version has a payload of up to 2,529kg.

Front wheel drive models also get new air suspension, as well as a new radio and sat-nav system.

"With lower fuel consumption, the new Renault Master ECO provides excellent fuel efficiency," confirms Nigel Butler, Renault Trucks' commercial director. "The 100 and 125bhp versions are already available and, with enhanced low rates of finance on LCVs, this is a fantastic offer."
