Octane pipers’ tour bound for Germany with Renault 31 October 2016

The Red Hot Chilli Pipers’ Octane Tour (29 October – 30 December 2016) is being supported by two Renault Trucks Master 145 Euro-6 crew vans.

Supplied by Renault Trucks Scotland, the vans will transport eight musicians and five crew across Europe for the ‘Bagrockers’ German and UK tour dates.

“Thanks to the team at Renault Trucks Scotland, our Octane Tour is now on the road,” says Red Hot Chilli Pipers’ director, Kevin MacDonald.

“The Master is great to drive, very spacious for the driver and there’s excellent load space for a medium wheelbase van,” he continues.

“We’re looking forward to heading off to Germany.”

Renault Trucks Scotland’s Calum Aiken, a piper himself and a big fan of the band, was thrilled to be able to support the Red Hot Chilli Pipers.

“When I realised they were in urgent need of transport for the upcoming tour, I knew we could supply a couple of Master crew vans within the timescale and was pleased to be able to help out at short notice.”
