The awards recognise the individuals, teams and businesses leading the way in the tipper and tanker industries. Over 400 representatives from the tipper, tanker and bulk haulage industry came together to celebrate the 2017 winners.
O’Donovan Waste was named Tipper Haulier of the Year, for demonstrating an outstanding business strategy, an unwavering commitment to safety, training and the environment, while upholding true professionalism and customer care throughout.
MD Jacqueline O’Donovan is the driving force behind her business’ continued success and was crowned as Personality of the Year, in recognition of her role as the voice of SMEs and inspiration as a female director in a predominantly male-dominated industry.
She commented: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be named as Haulier of the Year in what has become a very competitive industry. We pride ourselves on our standards for road safety and have a shared vision with all staff in our business to continue to help improve the image of the haulage industry. Having our efforts recognised in the form of such a prestigious accolade is a real honour.
