O’Donovan drives up compliance with Driver CPC training03 March 2016

O’Donovan Waste Disposal has announced that 45 of its HGV drivers have completed a one-day course, entitled Staying Legal, as part of their Driver CPC training.

The course was commissioned by FORS Gold operator O’Donovan, and delivered out of hours at its Tottenham, London HQ.

The course – with backing from TfL, the Metropolitan Police, DVSA and traffic commissioners – will now be rolled out across the UK and offered to all FORS-accredited operators.

“Despite the fact O’Donovan is a FORS Gold operator and could have taken advantage of funded training offered by FORS, we chose to commission our own on-site Staying Legal course to avoid downtime for our drivers,” says Jacqueline O’Donovan, managing director.

Training provider Fleet Source is now delivering the programme across the UK.
