Ogilvie marks diamond jubilee with 40 new Transit Customs16 September 2014

Ogilvie Group has marked its 60th anniversary with an order for 40 Ford Transit Custom vans.

The Ford Transit Custom 2.0 TDCi 125 Trend models – a mix of panel vans and double cabs – feature Ogilvie Group's new corporate livery as well as special 60th anniversary logos.

They join the Stirling-based group's fleet of 65 light commercial vehicles.

The Transit Customs will be operated for up to four years and they replace previous Ford Transit models.

Ogilvie has used Ford vehicles since it was established.

To mark the launch of the new fleet, a Ford 1912 Model T one ton pick-up truck, which was driven by current chief executive Duncan Ogilvie's grandfather, has been restored to its former glory.

The restoration took more than two years and was carried out by Ogilvie Group's Jim Penman.
