O&H delivers 70 patient transports for ambulance trusts 02 November 2016

According to O&H Vehicle Conversions, an unnamed “leading private ambulance company” has taken delivery of 70 PTS (patient transport) vehicles destined for two ambulance trusts.

O&H supplied a mix of high dependency, bariatric, stretcher and seated PTS vehicles, all of which have been built to customer specifications.

“With a new fleet on a new contract it is important to know that you are getting the vehicles you need, in the right place at the right time,” states the private ambulance firm’s operations director.

“Some of the schedules we have given O&H have been tight, but they have responded well, been highly flexible and delivered every vehicle on the day it was due.”

And he adds that O&H’s vehicles are good conversions. “They listened to our requirements, and the design and fabrication are both excellent.”

“This is a key growth market for O&H,” says O&H managing director Martyn Archer.

“Patient transport is a highly competitive sector in which timing and quality are critical. We invest in both customer service and engineering to support them.”
