O&H to unveil new emergency vehicle at NAPFM06 June 2016

O&H Vehicle Conversions has announced that it will be unveiling a new paramedic practitioner vehicle (PPV) at this week’s NAPFM Emergency Fleet Exhibition (7-8 June; Telford).

The vehicle is based on the Euro 6 Mercedes Vito and, says O&H, is lighter and requires less maintenance than previous models of this type.

It also has a host of data-related features, including the ability to act as a Wi-Fi hub hotspot allowing live vehicle data, electrocardiogram (EKG) and electronic patient care reporting (ePCR) readings to be sent wirelessly, as well as enabling high quality video to be streamed from the PPV to its destination hospital.

O&H uses lighter, stronger aerospace-type build materials for vehicle durability and lower weight. The new PPV has an aluminium floor; lithium technology for increased battery capacity, weight reduction and improved charging; and a higher front bulkhead plus the addition of a blind for patient privacy.
