One is a 10.75m walking floor trailer for WR Cross & Sons (pictured) – the fifth to be added to the operator’s fleet.
“For these latest models, we have re-engineered the body, changing the shape to a tapered sided body, as well as simplifying the overall hydraulics, while also installing a lighter V6 floor system,” says Chris Berridge, managing director of Paneltex.
“All these changes have combined to allow us to manufacture our lightest ever models which we showed in Harrogate for the first time.”
As well as the walking floor trailer, Paneltex Martrans also demonstrated a new IVECO Stralis X-Way 8x4 rigid complete with a lightweight Paneltex Martrans walking floor rigid body.
The eight-wheeler was liveried in IVECO’s Stralis X-Way launch colours and is now operating as a demonstrator vehicle for the truck manufacturer.
