Passengerfta on board with engineering inspections for London’s buses16 October 2013

Transport for London (TfL) has awarded the engineering quality monitoring contract for London's bus fleet to Passengerfta, part of the FTA (Freight Transport Association).

Passengerfta will be checking TfL's fleet of PCVs (passenger carrying vehicles), providing quality monitoring inspections as well as audits.

"TfL is looking forward to a continued working relationship with Passengerfta … for the whole of London's 8,500-strong bus fleet," comments Mike Weston,TfL's director of buses.

And Chris Thornton, managing director for business services at the FTA, adds: "To be awarded the engineering quality monitoring contract once again is a welcome recognition of Passengerfta's accredited and independent service."
